2010 F1

The 2010 Formula One season will be the 61st Formula One season. The technical and sporting regulations applicable for this season have been, and continue to be, the subject of much debate. The reigning Driver's Champion, Jenson Button, has joined McLaren, and the reigning Constructor's Champion, Brawn GP, have been bought by Mercedes-Benz and renamed Mercedes Grand Prix.

Team US F1

Team US F1 is a Formula One team which has been granted entry to Formula One in the 2010 season. The team is fronted by former Haas CNC Racing technical director Ken Anderson and journalist (and former Williams and Ferrari manager) Peter Windsor.
US F1 will be one of only two F1 teams based outside of Europe (the Lotus F1 Team will eventually be based at Sepang, Malaysia), with their factory located in Charlotte, North Carolina at a former NASCAR Joe Gibbs Racing Facility building. The team will have a secondary base at Motorland Aragón, Spain.) This is part of Anderson and Windsor's plan to promote American drivers and technology, which also includes their stated goal of employing two American drivers. However, Windsor has stated that they may employ a more experienced, non-American driver in their first season to help speed up development
